+The handheld scanner presents a cable with a DB9 female on its ending. It has an adapter from DB9 Male to 2 x PS/2 (DIN) Male & Female.
 Inside the handheld scanner, the cable attaches to K2 on an aux pcb with a 232 transceiver and the pushbutton switch. K1 on this pcb goes to the real barcode scanner PCB assy. The following table represents wiring, between brackets wiring through the RS232 transceiver.
